This project was part of the World’s Coolest Winter campaign, a national initiative launched in the UAE to encourage people to explore the country and rediscover its beautiful landscapes, cultural landmarks, and historical sites.
As part of the campaign, a large interactive treasure hunt was created with Abo Flah, turning the UAE into a real-life treasure map.
For five intense days, a small team of three people and I travelled across the Emirates by car, placing 52 treasure boxes in different locations across the country. Each location became a clue that guided viewers toward the hidden treasure.
I was responsible for the entire visual production of the project.
While moving from one location to another, I filmed and documented all 52 locations, transforming each place into a visual hint for the audience. Working from inside the car, I handled the filming, directing, editing, and publishing of the content in real time, effectively turning the vehicle into a production studio.
Within this short timeframe, I produced 50+ videos that were broadcast on YouTube Live and X, guiding participants throughout the treasure hunt. I also created the introductory video that launched the campaign and the final video documenting the entire journey.
The campaign reached more than 7 million views and led to many winners across the UAE, turning the experience into a nationwide digital adventure that connected millions of viewers with the landscapes and cultural sites of the Emirates.
This project was a powerful crazy experience in real-time storytelling, high-speed production, and creative problem solving under pressure.
